Kunchikal Falls is the highest waterfall in India plunging from a height of 1,493 feet (455 meters). The falls are set in the Western Ghats near the village of Mastikatte in the Shimoga district of Karnataka.

Located on the Udupi-Shimoga border, Udupi railway station from Agumbe is around 67 km and From Shimoga, it is around 97km. One can take up any taxi or bus to the waterfall from Shimoga or Udupi.
